Amber McClain Shaw is a writer, artist, enthusiastic home chef, runner, and author of the book If I Knew I Was Going to Have Three Boys, I Would Have Paid More Attention in PE, Volumes 1 and 2.

As the oldest of three girls, she felt unprepared to raise three boys but grew to love and embrace the journey. Now that her children are grown, she is writing, going on adventures, working on book projects, and attending writers' conferences. She lives in San Jose and Santa Cruz, California with her husband, and highly anxious dog.
